Uncanny X-Periment Up-date!

Hey Muties!

I wanted to give you guys an up-date on the X-Periment, those that read this.  The "50 Best X-Men Stories" is far from a weekly feature, unfortunately.  Kids and work just make projects like this difficult.   The goal is the have the next three installments out by the end of the year, with #30-20 out within the next two weeks.

With that out of the way, I do also want to announce the end of the Uncanny X-Periment proper, with the events of Battle of the Atom, the X-Men's 50th anniversary event.  The thought process behind this is that there are five X-Men titles, proper . . . and that's not counting Uncanny Avengers.   I don't have time to figure out the jigsaw puzzle that is continunity at this time.   The 50th anniversary events feels like the best time to bring this to a close.

Now all that being said, I'm still going to be doing some up-dates to the blog itself as I go along reading comics.  The end of X-Periment also means I'll be posting my conclusions to the X-Periment.   Exciting!

Things to Come!

Just wanted to break regular programming to announce that the Uncanny X-Periment will be shifting a little bit over the next few months.   There will be a slow down in regular X-Periment up-dates, as I'm still trying to get caught up.

MEANWHILE!

Next month, expect a brand-new twice weekly up-date!  To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the X-Men, I will be posting short review/summaries of  the TOP FIFTY X-MEN STORIES EVER!  This will start 7/1.  Be ready!  Be X-CITED!

We're back!

Finally FINALLY getting caught on comics!

I'm missing bits and pieces of "Necrosha" and "Utopia," but other than that, the X-Periment is back! That being said . . .

After "The Reckoning" (Wolverine Origins) and "Second Coming," I'm done. After 18 years of reading and collecting X-Men, I've just lost interest. "Second Coming" hasn't been too bad thus far, but I'm just not as interested as I used to be. A lot of it has to do with the current marathon of events in the X-Titles. A lot has to do with Matt Fraction's boring-ass writing. So, when "Second Coming" comes to an end in August (right?), I'll be doing a review. A final review.

I may, as time permits, go back and clean up some of these reviews and/or revisit some stories. But we'll see. I have a little Mutant on the way now and that takes priority over everything.
